_.Anthony William Behrens, who died 8 May, 2021, aged 70, was a scion of the Behrens landed family; born in 1950, son of William Edward Boaz Behrens [b 1904], and his wife the former Dulcie Bella Mocatta. He married in 1974, Lindsey Margaret Spendlove, by whom he had issue, two sons and a daughter.
He was a paternal grandson of Maj. Clive Behrens, of Swinton Grange, Malton, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Hon Charlotte Rothschild [1873-1947], daughter of the 1st Baron Rothschild [1840-1915].
