_. Guy Tristram van der Gucht, who died 20 January, 2021, aged 69, was descended from the Earls of Wemyss and March.
He was born in 1951, son of Henry Benjamin Van Der Gucht and his wife the former Pamela Sabina Strickland [1921-83], and was a grandson of Algernon Walter Strickland [1891-1938], and his wife the Lady Mary Charteris [1895-1991], daughter of the 9th Earl of Wemyss & March [1857-1937].
