Mairi White is a scion of the Brewis landed gentry family, daughter of [Ralph Michael] Rodney Brewis [born 1951], by his wife the former Valerie Anne Gerard, and a granddaughter of Capt Henry John Brewis [1920-1989], by his wife the former Faith Agnes Devorguilla MacTaggart-Stewart [1926-1998], scion of the baronets of that name.
