John Zak Woodcock (born 14 October 1978) is a British politician serving as the UK Special Envoy for Countering Violent Extremism, at the Home Office.
He was previously the Member of Parliament (MP) for Barrow and Furness from 2010 to 2019 and before that worked as an aide to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
He was one of a number of opposition politicians ennobled in Boris Johnson's controversial Dissolution Honours list in 2020 after he urged voters to back the Conservatives in the 2019 General Election.
