Lieutenant-Colonel Count Mark Colacicchi, late the Light Dragoons (formerly 13th/18th Royal Hussars), died 17 December, 2005, aged 54, after a long illness. He was husband of Susan, father of James, Rory and Sophie, and brother of Caroline and William. Memorial Requiem Mass at St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, 13 January, 2006.
