The engagement was announced 2 February, 2006, between Robert Rattray, of Spoutside, Perthshire, scion of that BLG family, son of the Maj. Peter Rattray and Mrs Jo Rattray, of Newmarket, Suffolk, & Fiona Brown, daughter of the late J. Angus Brown and Mrs Elizabeth Brown, of Simprim Mains, Berwickshire.
