The engagement was announced 6 January, 2006, between George R. Thomas, son of Mr & Mrs Hugh Thomas, of Elm House, Bishops Tawton, Devon, & Jessica Suzanna Waley-Cohen (b. 1979), daughter of Robert Bernard Waley-Cohen (b. 1948), of Upton Viva, Oxfordshire, scion of the Waley-Cohen Baronets (cr. 1961), by his wife the former Hon. Felicity Ann Samuel, daughter of the 3rd Viscount Bearsted.
