Kathleen Ellen (Kitty) Aykroyd, who died 14 September, 2005, aged 91, was the widow of Colonel Harold Hammond Aykroyd, OBE, MC, TD, DL (1896-1974), scion of the Aykroyd Baronets (created in 1920).
She was the former Kitty Tyrrell-Gray, daughter of Harry Tyrrell-Gray, FRCS, and married Colonel Aykroyd (2nd son of the 1st Baronet) , as his second wife in 1941.
She leaves issue, one daughter, Harriet Louisa, b. 1951; and is survived also by 2 step-daughters, Susan and Sally.
The funeral takes place at Whixley Church, North Yorkshire, 23 September, 2005.
