The engagement was announced 16 February, 2026, between Thomas Henry de Montarville Hardinge, 8th Viscount Hardinge (born 19 June, 1993), son of the late 7th Viscount Hardinge (1960-2014), and Sophia Viscountess Hardinge (born 1963, nee Bagnell), & Louisa Ann Crowder (born 30 May, 1996), daughter of Richard John Crowder (born 28 March, 1950), of Guernsey, and his former wife Ms Lucy Crowder (born 1959, nee Charlesworth) of London.
Louisa Crowder is descended from the Lords Mowbray, Segrave & Stourton.
