The engagement was announced 15 March, 2025, between Ben H. Newton, eldest son Mr Keith Newton and the late Mrs Leyanne Provera, of Sydney, Australia, and Alice Mary Ella Pickthorn (born 22 February, 1996), scion of the Pickthorn baronets, eldest daughter of Thomas David Alexander Pickthorn (born 16 July, 1967), of Cambridge, and his wife the former Nicola Sheerin.
