Valerie Lois Brodrick died 27 February, 2025, aged 77.
She was the former Valerie Lois Stroud, daughter of Gerald Max Stroud, JP (1910-2004), by his wife the former Madeleine Louise Katherine Sussmann (1915-2004), and married 27 September, 1969, Michael John Lee Brodrick (born 12 October, 1941), scion of the Viscounts (later Earls) of Midleton, son of Norman John Lee Brodrick (1912-1992), and his wife the former Ruth Severn Unwin (1920-1998), daughter of Sir Stanley Unwin, KCMG (1884-1968), by whom she had a son, Robert John Lee Brodrick (born 9 May, 1972), and a daughter, Tessa Elizabeth Camilla Brodrick (born 14 Nov, 1975).
