The engagement was announced 1 March, 2025, between Group Capt James Niall Doyle, RAF, son of the Rev. Nigel Doyle, of Penclawdd, Gower and Mrs Gillian Loyd (nee Peake), of Blewbury, Oxfordshire, & the Hon Emily Sophia Wedgwood Benn (born 4 October, 1989), daughter of the 3rd Viscount Stansgate (born 21 Aug, 1951), and Viscountess Stansgate.
