Lieutenant-Commander Antony Charles Reynardson (Tony) Fane, RN, died 1 September, 2024, aged 96. He was a scion of the Earls of Westmorland.
He was born 11 October, 1927, son of Major the Hon Mountjoy John Charles Wedderburn Fane (1900-1963), and Agatha Isabel Acland-Hood-Reynardson (1903-1993), scion of the Acland-Hood baronets; married 17 January, 1956, Caroline Mary Rokeby Holland (1933-2010), scion of the Rokeby landed gentry family, by whom he had issue, a son, Edward (born 11 June, 1957), and two daughters, Olivia (born 9 May, 1960), and Charlotte (born 9 Sept, 1967).
Tony Fane was a grandson of the 13th Earl of Westmorland (1859-1922).
