Jennifer Goldsmid (nee Russell), who died 6 September, 2024, aged 79, was a scion of the Barons Ampthill (who were descended from the Dukes of Bedford).
Jennifer Rose Ann Russell was born 12 April, 1945, the second daughter of Major Cosmo Rex Ivor Russell (1911- Oct 2003), scion of the Barons Ampthill, by his wife the former Agnes Mary Parsons (1918-Sept 2003), scion of the Earls of Rosse; and married 26 April, 1966, Julian Nicholas Hoffnung-Goldsmid (1939-2006), son of Vivian Edward Hoffnung-Goldsmid (1903-78), of Binfield, Berkshire, and his wife the former Vera Ruth Levy (1904-1993). by whom he had issue, a daughter, Tara Alexandra (who was born 24 Nov, 1970).
