Laurelie, Lady Laurie, who died 5 September, 2024, was widow of Sir Robert Laurie, 7th Baronet. She was 85.
She was born Laurelie Meriol Winifrida Williams, 20 July, 1939, the elder daughter of Sir Reginald Lawrence William Williams, 7th Baronet (1900-1971), and his wife the former Elinor Meriol Enriqueta Trevor (1908-1982); and married 14 September, 1968, Robert Bayley Emilius Laurie (born 8 March, 1931), son of Major General Sir John Laurie, 6th Baronet, CB, DSO & Bar, DL (1892-1983), and his wife the former Evelyn Clare Gardner Richardson-Gardner (1896-1987). Her husband succeeded to the baronetcy (cr UK, 1834) on his father's death, 10 January, 1983, and died 27 December, 2017.
Lady Laurie was the mother of two daughters, Clare (born 25 Dec, 1974, died 21 May, 2023), and Serena (born 31 Aug, 1976).
