The engagement was announced 27 July, 2024, between Dr Benjamin Joseph Thomas Bickford (born 1992), son of Christopher Jack Sumner Bickford (born 1967), of Melbourne Beach, Florida, & his wife the former Mary Jane Hookham (born 1962), & Ruth Mary Frances Stanley (born 1987), scion of the Earls of Derby, daughter of Christopher Geoffrey Awdrey Stanley (born 18 March, 1949), of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, and his wife the former Anita Jane Keogh (born 1949).
