The engagement was announced 10 November, 2023, between George John O'Neill Pearson (born 1989), son of Christopher Rait O'Neill Pearson (born 9 May, 1947), of Sturminster Newton, Dorset, and his wife the former Sally N. Groom, & Arabella Anne Stanley (born 1989), scion of the Barons Stanley of Alderley, and descended from the Marquesses of Bath, eldest daughter of Oliver Hugh Stanley (born 30 June, 1959), of Beaulieu, Hampshire, and his wife the former Sophie Elizabeth Holmes.
