Anne Phillida Chetwynd-Stapylton (nee Pease), who died 31 October, 2023, aged 100, was a scion of the Pease baronets.
She was born 4 May, 1923, daughter of Sir Alfred Edward Pease, 2nd Baronet, MP, DL, JP (1857-1939), and his third wife the former Emily Elizabeth Smith (1897-1979). Her father served as Liberal MP for York, 1885-92, & was MP for Cleveland 1897-1902.
She married 20 February, 1946, Major (Edward) Mark Chetwynd-Stapylton (1919-1995), scion of the Viscounts Chetwynd, son of Richard Chetwynd-Stapylton (1880-1945), and his wife the former Vera Helen Maitland Makgill Crichton (1894-1959), scion of the Earls of Lauderdale, by whom she had three daughters, Judy Anne (born 22 April, 1948), Phillida Helen (born 20 Dec, 1949), and Joanna Elizabeth (born 19 July, 1951).
