Anne Henson, who died 18 October, 2023, aged 84, was a scion of the Ratcliffe-Brotherton landed gentry family. She was the chatelaine of the Kirkham Abbey estate, North Yorkshire.
Anne Ratcliffe-Brotherton was born in October, 1939, the only daughter of Charles Frederick Ratcliffe-Brotherton (1882-1949), of Kirkham Abbey, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Lurline Winifred Elliot-Pyle (known as 'Muffy', the champion racehorse owner); and married firstly, 5 January, 1965 (div 1968), David Foulk Myddelton (1932-2021), scion of that landed gentry family of Chirk Castle, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Ririd Myddelton (1902-1988), and his wife the former Lady Mary Margaret Elizabeth Petty-Fitzmaurice (1910-2003), scion of the Marquesses of Lansdowne; and married 2ndly, ____Henson, and leaves issue from her first marriage, a son, Guy Charles (who was born 17 January, 1966).
