Sir John Kemp Barlow, 3rd Baronet, died 30 December, 2022, aged 88.
Sir John was a former Joint Master of Foxhounds, Cheshire, and chairman of Majedie Investment plc. He was chairman of Thomas Barlow & Brothers Ltd.
He was born 22 Apr, 1934, son of Sir John Denman Barlow, 2nd Baronet (1898-1986), and his wife the former Hon Diana Helen Kemp (1904-86), daughter of the 1st Baron Rochdale (1866-1945), and succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's death, 1986.
Sir John was twice wed, firstly, 30 June, 1962 (div 1998), Susan Horsbrugh-Porter (1936-2012), scion of the baronets of that name, daughter of Colonel Sir Andrew Horsbrugh-Porter, 3rd Baronet (1907-1986), and his wife the former Annette Mary Browne-Clayton (1908-1992); married 2ndly, 21 May, 1998, Pauline Margaret Bancroft.
Sir John leaves four sons from his first marriage, William, David, Michael and Charles. The eldest son, (John) William Marshall Barlow (born 12 March, 1964), succeeds to the baronetcy.
