The engagement was announced 7 January, 2023, between Christopher D. Saner, younger son of Mr and Mrs Peter Saner of Ferring, West Sussex, & Eleanor Rachel Trefusis (born 26 September, 1995), scion of the Barons Clinton, third daughter of the Rev Charles Rodolph Trefusis (born 1 Sept, 1961), of Woodbridge, Suffolk, and his wife the former Catherine Dudgeon, daughter of Brian Christopher Dudgeon (1923-96), and his wife the former Patricia Mary Biggart (1930-90).
