Sir Hugh Frederick Corbet Gore, 15th Baronet, died at his home in Australia, 12 October, 2022. He was 87.
Sir Hugh, late of St.Ives, formerly of Goondiwindi, was the fifteenth holder of the baronetcy, created of Magherabegg, co. Donegal [Ireland, 1622].
He was born 31 December, 1934, son of Frederick Dundas Corbet Gore [1885-1964], and his wife the former Ella Maud Sydney-Jones [died 17 July, 1967]; and succeeded to the baronectcy, 23 September, 2008, on the death of his cousin, Sir Nigel Hugh St George Gore, 14th Baronet.
He married 12 July, 1963, Jennifer Mary Copp, daughter of Milton Gordon Copp, by whom he had issue, a son, Timothy, and two daughters, Penelope and Virginia. The son, Timothy Milton Corbet Gore, born 26 November, 1969, succeeds as 16th baronet.
