The engagement was announced 24 October, 2022, between Edward Douglas Collins (born 10 October, 1979), descended from the Backhouse baronets, son of Christopher Douglas Collins (born 19 January, 1940), of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, and his wife the former Susan Anne Lumb, & Natasha Mary Seel (born 1989), descended from the Barons Wakefield of Kendal, daughter of Jeremy Simon Seel (born 1955), of Fawley, Hampshire, and his wife the former Carolyn Mary Webb (born 1958).
