John Kenneth Andrew Gibbs, who died 2 October, 2022, aged 73, was a scion of the Barons Aldenham, and a half-brother of the 5th Earl of Liverpool [born 14 Nov, 1944].
He was born 9 October, 1948, first son of Major Andrew Antony Gibbs [1914-2000], and his wife Mrs Elizabeth Joan Foljambe [1921-1993], widow of Capt Peter George William Savile Foljambe [1919-44], scion of the Earls of Liverpool, and a scion of the Flint landed gentry family, daughter of Major Eric Charles Montagu Flint, DSO [1883-1962], and his wife the former Frances Sarah Nancy Hulbert [1893-1938], scion of that landed gentry family.
He married 7 January, 1978, Julia Margaret Edwards [born 1950], daughter of Major Maurice Alfred Edwards [1919-2005], and his wife the former Margaret Anne Beale [born 1920], by whom he had issue, a son, Simon Andrew Maurice Gibbs [born 27 Nov, 1985], and two daughters, Emma Elizabeth [born 5 Nov, 1979], and Louisa Mary [born 11 Dec, 1981].
