The engagement was announced 21 July, 2022, between the Hon François Hugh Nial O'Neill [born 26 June, 1984], son and heir of the 3rd Baron Rathcavan [born 14 June, 1939], of Cleggan Lodge, Ballymena, County Antrim, and his wife the former Sylvie Marie-Thérèse Wichard, & Lydia Anne Waterbury [born 1986], daughter of the late Richard Colin Waterbury and Mrs Richard Waterbury [nee O'Sullivan], of Chelsea, London.
