Elizabeth Margaret Johnston [nee Whigham], died 9 July, 2022. She was a daughter of Walter Henry Whigham [1919-73], and his wife the former Lois Mary Sassen [who died 2011], and was a first cousin once removed of Margaret, Duchess of Argyll [1912-93]; married 12 September, 1964, Raymond Ian Johnston [1935-2014], scion of the landed family of that name, of Lesmurdie, son of Capt Kenneth Arthur William Johnston [1906-1987], and his wife the former Nora Honor Ramsay [1911-90], scion of the Ramsay baronets, of Balmain, by whom she had issue, a son, Euan [born 8 June, 1971], and two daughters, Marietta [born 13 Nov, 1966], and Katrina [born 21 Nov, 1968].
