The engagement was announced 24 February, 2022, between Cody Charles Edward Tennant, 4th Baron Glenconner [born 2 February, 1994], son of the late Hon Charles Edward Pevensey Tennant [1957-1996], and his wife the former Sheilagh Scott [now the Hon Mrs Charles Tennant, of Edinburgh], daughter of Matthew Raymond Scott, of Peebles, and Miss Rebeka McDonald, daughter of Mr & Mrs Colin McDonald, of Archerfield.
Cody Tennant succeeded to the Glenconner peerage [created in 1911] on the death of his grandfather, the 3rd Baron, who died 27 Aug, 2010. The 3rd Baron was owner of Mustique, and a great friend of Princess Margaret. He married in 1956, Lady Anne Coke [born 1932], one of the Queen's trainbearers at the Coronation, 1953, a daughter of the 5th Earl of Leicester, &c.
