The engagement was announced 11 February, 2022, between Lord Charles David Gordon [born 8 June, 1990], third son of the late 7th Marquess of Aberdeen & Temair [1955-2020], and of Joanna, Marchioness of Aberdeen & Temair [nee Joanna Clodagh Houldsworth], and Alice Nancy Alfert, daughter of Mr & Mrs David Alfert.
