The engagement was announced 18 December, 2021, between James Rupert (Jamie) Buchanan-Jardine (born 28 July, 1994), son and heir of Sir John Christopher Rupert Buchanan-Jardine, 5th Baronet (born 20 March, 1952), of Castlemilk, Dumfriesshire, and his wife the former Pandora Lavinia Murray Lee (born 1952), & Katryn Maria Taylor (born 1994), daughter of Aidan Taylor, of Carlisle, Cumbria, and his wife (nee O'Hanlon).
