The engagement was announced 13 November, 2020, between Randal Plunkett, 21st Baron Dunsany (born 9 March, 1983), son of the late 20th Baron Dunsany (1939-2011), and his wife the former Maria-Alice de Marsillac (nee Villela de Carvalhodied, who died 9 Apr 2020), and Laura Dillon.
The Dunsany peerage is ancient, created in the Peerage of Ireland by letters patent, circa 1439. The family seat is at Dunsany Castle, Co. Meath, Ireland.
