Sarah Barbara Boscu [nee Maitland-Makgill-Crichton]

_. Sarah Barbara [Sally] Boscu, who died in Milan, 23 October, 2020, aged 84, was a scion of the Earls of Lauderdale.

She was born 5 April, 1936, daughter of Colonel Henry David Maitland-Makgill-Crichton [1904-70], and his wife ther former Barbara Ellen Armytage [1906-94], scion of the Armytage baronets.

Sally Maitland-Makgill-Crichton married firstly, 10 July, 1958, Count Alessandro Monneret de Villard. She married 2ndly, in 1984, Francesco Boscu. She leaves three daughters from her first marriage, Raffaela [born 9 Oct 1961], Xenia [born 15 May 1965], and Tatiana [born 1970].

Sally Boscu was descended in the male line from the 6th Earl of Lauderdale [1688-1744], and was a granddaughter maternally of Brigadier-General Sir George Ayscough Armytage, 7th Baronet [1872-1953], and his wife the former  Aimée Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, scion of the baronets of that name.
