The engagement was announced 14 November, 2020, between George Frederick Haggas [born 1993], son of John Haggas, of Gayton, Norfolk, and his wife nee Speed, and Serena Catherine Lucinda Tite [born 1994], daughter of Christopher Charles Tite [born 1959], of Putney, London, and his wife the former Lucinda Jane Slade [born 15 Nov, 1959].
Serena's grandfather, the Rt Hon Sir Christopher John Slade, Kt, PC [born 2 June, 1927] was a Lord Justice of Appeal, 1982-91, who married 30 Dec, 1958, Jane Gwenllian Armstrong Buckley [born 22 May, 1936], scion of the Barons Wrenbury, daughter of the Rt Hon Sir Denys Burton Buckley, Kt, PC [1906-98], a Lord Justice of Appeal 1970-81, and his wife the former Gwendolen Jane Armstrong-Jones [1905-85], an aunt of Antony Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon, GCVO [1930-2017].
