The engagement was announced 11 September, 2019, between Peter Richard Liddell-Grainger [born 1987], scion of that landed family, son of Ian Richard Peregrine Liddell-Grainger, MP, of Bicknoller, co Somerset [born 1959], by his wife the former Jill Nesbitt [born 1956], & Elizabeth Anne Wilks [born 1985], daughter of Dr Peter Robert Wilks, of Sandhill, co Surrey, by his wife the former Victoria Anne Morgan Woollam [born 1954].
Peter Liddell-Grainger is a great-great-grandson of Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone [1883-1981], who was a granddaughter of HM Queen Victoria.
