_. Sophie Anne Cotton Dalrymple [born 1992, nee O'Meara], wife of William Hew Dalrymple (born 1992) scion of the Earls of Stair and cousin twice removed of HM The Queen, gave birth to a son, Henry North, 4 May, 2019.
William Dalrymple is a son of the Hon Michael Colin Dalrymple (born 1965), of Oxenfoord, Midlothian, by his wife the former Harriet Lucy Buxton (born 1962) scion of the Buxton baronets.
Sophie Dalrymple is a daughter of Joseph C O’Meara (b 1962) of Monks Kirby, Warwickshire, by his wife the former Tracey A Darcy.
William’s grandmother, Davina Countess of Stair, who died in 2017, was a niece of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
