_. Lydia Louisa G. Vassar Smith [b 1981, nee Newhouse], wife of Richard Rathborne Vassar-Smith (b 29 Dec 1975), gave birth to a daughter, Mary Rathborne Juliet, 23 February, 2017, a sister for Violet.
Richard is the elder son and heir of Sir John Rathborne Vassar-Smith, 4th Baronet (b 23 Jul 1936), of Wantage, Oxfordshire, by his wife the former Roberta Elaine Williamson.
Lydia Vassar Smith is a daughter of Mr Philip J. Newhouse, of London, by his wife the former Linda Wright.
