The engagement was announced 14 May, 2013, between (Charles) Henry FitzRoy Talbot-Ponsonby (born 1981), scion of the Earls of Shrewsbury & Waterford (Premier Earl on the Roll in Peerages both of England & Ireland), eldest son of Nigel Edward Charles Talbot-Ponsonby (b 1946), of Langrish, Hampshire, by his wife the former Robina Helen Bruce (scion of the Earls of Elgin & Kincardine), & Vanessa V. Rogers, second daughter of Lt-Col. John Rogers, of Merrion, Pembrokeshire, and Mrs Penelope Rogers, of Cattistock, Dorset. -=-
