_.The engagement was announced 9 May, 2013, between James Alexander Stewart-Lockhart (born 1984), son of Mr Clive Stewart-Lockhart, of Shalbourne, Wiltshire, by his wife the former Jane N. Baer (b 1959), & Effie Charlotte Hamilton-Dalrymple (b 1986), scion of the Hamilton-Dalrymple Baronets (Bt, cr, Nova Scotia, 1698), daughter of Robert George Hamilton-Dalrymple (b 1959), of Gifford, East Lothian, by his wife the former Anna Mary Gibson. The bride-to-be is a granddaughter paternally of Sir Hew Fleetwood Hamilton-Dalrymple, KCVO, 10th Baronet, of Leuchie, North Berwick, East Lothian, by his wife Lady Anne-Louise Mary Keppel, dau of the 9th Earl of Albemarle, &c. -=-
