Margaret Joan Vereker, who died 23 July, 2026, aged 96, was a scion of the Viscounts Gort.
She was born 9 December, 1929, the elder daughter of Maurice Charles Prendergast Vereker (1884-1963), and his wife the former Winifred Joan Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes (1897-1982), scion of the Barons Saye & Sele. She was Unmarried.
She was a great-granddaughter of the 4th Viscount Gort (1819-1900), and a great-great-granddaughter of the 10th Baron Saye & Sele (1799-1887).
