Barbara Winifred Gosling, who died in April 2026, was a scion of the Earls of Eglinton & Winton.
She was born in 1933, the fourth daughter of John Eglinton Montgomerie (1899-1971), and his wife the former Irene Agnes Cameron (who. died 1959).
She married 1954 (div. 1978), David Walter Gosling, by whom she had issue, two sons and a daughter.
