The engagement was announced 27 June, 2026, between Edward Daniel Walford (born 1988), son of Peter Vivian Walford (born 1953), of Burwash, East Sussex, and the the Hon Claire Elizabeth Walford (nee Pennock) (born 1958), & Tamara Bungaroo (born 1989), daughter of Sen Bungaroo, of Langstone, Hampshire, and his wife the former Maria Valdes Martinez.
Edward Walford is a grandson of the life peer the Baron Pennock (1920-1993).
