The engagement was announced 27 June, 2026, between Alexander Peter L. Kemmis Betty (born 7 November, 1984), son of Richard H. St M. Kemmis Betty, of The Queen's Own Hussars, of Milton on Stour, Dorset, and his wife the former Victoria Lacon (born 1952), scion of the Lacon baronets, & Rachael J. Stitt, elder daughter of Prof and Mrs Alan Stitt, of Killinchy, Co Down.
