Nicola Cookson, who died 30 May, 2026, aged 87, was a scion of the Heneage landed gentry family, shs was born in 1939, daughter of Michael William Walker Heneage (1907-1946), and his wife the former Dulcibel Effie Davies; and married in 1962, Philip Francis Cookson, RN 1931-2014, by whom she had 2 sons.
