The marriage took place in Kirkcudbright, Scotland, 29 April, 2025, between Sir Ludovic Houston Shaw Stewart, 12th Baronet (born 12 November, 1986), only son of the late Sir Houston Shaw Stewart, 11th Baronet, MC (1931-2004), of Ardgowan, and his wife the former Lucinda Victoria Fletcher (born 1949, now Mrs Christopher Chetwode, wife of a scion of the Chetwode Barons), & Jennifer Scott, elder daughter of Gavin Stewart Scott (born 26 May, 1951), of Kirkcudbright, and his wife the former Sheila Elizabeth Curwen (born 1956).
The Stewart, later Shaw-Stewart Baronetcy, of Greenock and Blackhall in the County of Renfrew, is a title in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. It was created on 27 March 1667 for Archibald Stewart.This family is descended in the direct male line from Sir John Stewart, illegitimate son of Robert III, King of of Scots, who granted him the estate of Ardgowan in Renfrewshire.
