George Hassard Stacpoole, scion of an Irish anded family, died in Limerick, 10 May, 2025. He was 88.
He wasborn 7 January, 1937, the second son of Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Hassard Stacpoole, MC, RA (1896-1973), and his wife the former Helen Muriel Clare Morphy; and married 28 September, 1968, Michelina Gemma, daughter of Giuseppe Gemma, of Zungoli, Avellino, Italy, by whom he had issue, two sons, Hassard Andrew Francesco (born 23 March, 1969), and Sebastian Christopher Piero (born 21 March, 1972).
