The engagement was announced 13 May, 2025, between George Frederick Pearson (born Nov, 1995), scion of the Viscounts Cowdray, son of the Hon Charles Anthony Pearson (born 5 March, 1956), of Pitshill, West Sussex, and his Danish-born wife the former Benedicte Iuul (a previous wife of Baron Axel Henrik von Blixen-Finecke), & Francesca A. Durnford (born 1995), daughter of Capt Jonathon William Durnford (born Feb 1964), of Mentone, France, and his former wife Ceridwen Margaretta Mueller (later Mrs Cunningham, of Pimlico, London).
George Pearson is a grandson of the late 3rd Viscount Cowdray (1910-1995).
