Nicholas Paul Beresford-Jones died 22 April, 2025, aged 81. He married in 1971, as her second husband, Deirdre Nell Bathurst Norman (born 19 Oct 1946), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Harry Rumbold Bathurst Norman, GM (1901-1966), and his wife the former Ann Prunella Beckett (1907-2001), scion of the Barons Grimthorpe, by whom he had a daughter, Alexandra Juliet (born in 1973).
