The engagement was announced 25 April, 2025, between Julian Roger G. Hill (born 1997), second son of Guy Henry Charles Hill (born 1958), of Awbridge, Hampshire, and his wife the former Hon Emma Louisa Angela McGowan (born 13 June, 1963), & Saskia Catherine Tricker (born 1998), younger daughter of Graham John Tricker (born 1962), of Manea, Cambridgeshire, and his wife the former Lisa Victoria Fitzhugh (born 1966).
Julian Hill is a grandson maternally of the 3rd Baron McGowan (1938-2003).
