The Hon Melissa Llewelyn-Davies, who died 24 March, 2025, aged 79, a documentary film maker, was the daughter of two life peers, the Baron Llewelyn-Davies and the Baroness Llewelyn-Davies of Hastoe.
She was born 1 June, 1945, the eldest daughter of Richard Llewelyn-Davies (1912-1981), created a life peer in 1964, by his wife the former Annie Patricia Parry (1915-1997), created a life peer in 1967, as Baroness Llewelyn-Davies of Hastoe.
She married in 1974 (div) as his first wife, Christopher Desmond Curling (born 1947), scion of that landed gentry family, son of Lt-Cdr Bryan William Richard Curling, VRD, RNVR (1911-2008), and his wife the former Elizabeth Mary Bonham (1914-1992), daughter of Sir Eric Henry Bonham, 3rd Baronet (1875-1937).
She leaves a son, Richard William Samuel (b 1983), and a daughter, Allegra Rose Elizabeth (b 1979).
