The engagement was announced 2 April, 2025, between Olivia Nancy Brooke (born 12 January, 1994), elder daughter of Sir Francis George Windham Brooke, 4th Baronet (born 15 Oct, 1963), and his wife the former Hon Katharine Elizabeth Hussey (born 1 Feb, 1964), and Erin Lucy McPartland (born 1988), younger daughter of Peter J. McPartland, OBE, and his wife the former Janet Sturrock.
Olivia Brooke's father is the King's Representative at Royal Ascot. Her mother is a daughter of the late Baron Hussey of North Bradley (1923-2006), and his wife the Lady Susan Katharine Waldegrave, GCVO (born 1 May, 1939), sometime Woman of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Elizabeth II.
