Josephine Beryl 'Josie' Crawley-Boevey (née Kindersley), died 6 September, 2024. She was 93.
She was born in 1931, the only child of Lieutenant-Colonel Nathaniel Henry Kindersley (1900-1980), scion of that landed gentry family, by his wife the former Beryl Ritchie (1900-1987); and married 17 December, 1960, as his second wife, Major Anthony Crawley-Boevey, MBE (1921-1996), of the 17th/21st Lancers, scion of the baronets of that name, son of Major Martin Crawley-Boevey, DSO, MC (1883-1954), and his wife Elizabeth Adela Hall (1892-1972); by whom she had two sons, Martin (born 4 May, 1963), and Simon (born 29 June, 1967), and a daughter, Katherine (born 12 July, 1964).
